A Good Starter Bike: 2001 KTM LC4

The folks at Summit Honda in Park City, Utah have this 2001 KTM LC4 that was taken in on trade. It has 1500 clean miles, and the thing looks like maybe it was ridden through a puddle once. This would be a good starter bike for someone looking to get into adventure dualsport riding, and the price is right, somewhere around bluebook value of $3600. Check it out.

Claw, thanks for the compliment, but looks can be deceiving. Come out on the Wednesday night Kamas Loop ride and see how fast fat goes uphill. I’m not far off of racing weight.

Tom, Sorry about the fat comment. What I really meant to say was, Hi. Your blog looks great. Looks like you are having fun with the motorcycles. Hope to see ya soon.

Claw, I was just messing with you. Glad you checked in. I miss racing with you guys. Kinda. I get sensitive about my belly as I am getting older.

    T$,
Speaking of starter bikes I bought T-Birds DR650. Can I join your gang? You could school me like back in the day, we could talk about guitars and how fast we used to be on the pedal bikes..

A-Train: I knew about the DR, just didn’t know how to get in touch with you. You are hereby officially in the gang. Next planned ride is second weekend in October, loop the Great Salt Lake. Make sure it’s a rest weekend for you so you don’t miss any cross. We can talk guitars, but since you are still pedaling fast and I’m not, we’ll have to leave that one alone. Moto aka T$ aka the great Cipo-leezzee.
