Ducati 999 For Sale
09 Sep 2009, written by moto 3 CommentsIt’s always a sad day when you decide to put a moto up on the chopping block. Alas, Bartman is not getting down to the Miller Motorsports Speedway as often as he would like, and is looking to part with his 2004 Ducati 999. 3001 miles, mostly on the track (I think). See the list below and photos, and serious inquiries posted in comments will be forwarded on to Bartman. The bike is located in Park City, Utah:
2004 Ducati 999

EuroRacing “short throw” throttle and cable upgrade

There is a small nick in tank and a couple scratches on swingarm but other than that, it is in great condition
$9k or serious offers.

Russian Sidecars
07 Sep 2009, written by moto 0 CommentsA colleague of mine at Welikesmall is thinking about buying one of these Russian made motorcycles, complete with sidecar and two-wheel drive. Let me clarify, that Matt has his own company, Team13, and specializes in integrated video and content production, mostly for the web. He thinks it would be cool to throw his ski gear in the sidecar and use it to get up and down LLC for ski days at Snowbird. He’s going to Denver this weekend to check one out, and may return from his trip with a used one.
One Mohawk Shy of Mad Max: Larry’s Harley MT
24 Aug 2009, written by moto 1 CommentsMy friend Larry stopped by this weekend on his rare Harley MT. This bike was bought from an Army Surplus outfit in Connecticut. Larry has been all over the west on this thing with about 13,000 kilometers (the odometer only reads in K’s, so you’ll have to do the math on that one). These bikes were supposedly made to be parachuted out of planes. No thanks. Larry’s brother has a couple of these, one with only 5 miles on it. Or 8 kilometers, I guess.
